The Jim Robertson Scholarship honors the legacy of Jim Robertson, a visionary leader and the longest-serving IV-D Director of the Kansas Child Support Services Program. Renowned for his fairness, dedication, and leadership, Jim guided the development of groundbreaking contributions—like the establishment of the income withholding process and spearheading the creation of the Kansas Payment Center—both of which transformed child support services for Kansas families. This scholarship supports high school seniors, college students, and vocational learners who maintain a 3.0 GPA and are connected to active KCSEA members. Funded through donations and fundraising events, the scholarship reflects Jim’s values of service and commitment, empowering students to pursue higher education and carry on his legacy by serving Kansas families and their communities.
